Read the transcript of a video or episode without copying it by hand.
Select one video, one podcast episode, or one local file. Your assistant reads the existing caption track or the publisher-linked transcript as bounded excerpts with timestamps and citations, over MCP.
Three moving parts, one route.
You select the item. The host paces callers, routes your session to your device, and returns bounded excerpts with citations.

What a working setup needs.
Plain facts about what must be present before a call succeeds.
Enrollment runs without signup: the installer generates a key, the host binds it, and the Bridge pairs itself. The device must be online while you call.
Retrieval covers caption tracks the source already exposes and transcript files the publisher linked. Nothing transcribes audio and nothing invents text.
Any client that speaks streamable HTTP MCP: an assistant, an agent, or a script. The connect section shows the configuration.
Authorized SRT, VTT or JSON files on your device supplement retrieved transcripts, after format validation.
Free to start, paced per connection.
The free tier needs no signup. Your connection address is the identity, so everyone behind the same address shares its allowance. Paid access runs on an API key bound to one installation.
Paid access is arranged by request; there is no checkout on this page.
Point your client at your route.
After the installer finishes you get a route and a ready-to-paste configuration. The configuration below shows the shape; the install commands are verified at the release gate before this page is published.
release-gated install and host CLI commands are checked against the shipped artifacts at the release gate.

A worked video call: select kCc8FmEb1nY, search
using matrix multiplication, and the answer carries cues 1197 to 1198 with a
t=2834s citation. A worked podcast call: select the feed
https://podnews.net/rss and the episode GUID
https://podnews.net/update/clone-ai-voice-hack, and the publisher-linked VTT
arrives parsed and searchable the same way, with the episode's own timestamps.
